UBBSLA signed a Cooperation Agreement with the Pomeranian Voivodeship, Republic of Poland
Today, 13.06.2023, at an official ceremony in the meeting hall of the municipality of Burgas, the Chairman of the UBBSLA Board, Mr. Atanas Stoilov, signed the Cooperation Agreement with the Pomeranian Voivodeship (Województwo Pomorskie), Republic of Poland. The Pomeranian Voivodeship is one of 16 regions in Poland, part of the historical region of Pomerania, with a population of just over 2.3 million people and the administrative center and largest city – Gdańsk.
Considering the similarities between the Pomeranian Voivodeship and the 20 member municipalities of the Union of Bulgarian Black Sea Local Authorities (UBBSLA), the parties agreed to cooperate for the period 2023-2025. in the following areas:
economic development and mutual presentation with participation in exhibitions and fairs
supporting business partnership and cooperation between companies
promotion of tourism potential to promote exchange
joint actions in the field of high-tech industries and intelligent solutions
cooperation for environmental protection
support for exchange and cooperation between universities
support for the implementation of joint youth projects
support for cultural exchange
