The Black Sea countries’ experience in application of energy efficient measures in historic buildings
The international workshop entitled: “Innovations in cultural heritage and green tourism” gathered representatives of the 6th Black Sea countries on 10th-12th June 2019 in Cahul, Moldova. The workshop was organized in the framework of the project “Green Tourism and Historical Heritage – a stepping stone for the development of the Black Sea Basin (GreeTHIS)”, funded by the European Union through the Black Sea Basin Programme 2014-2020.
The event was attended by business companies, energy service companies, tour operators, public authorities and partner represented team members who shared experience and best practices in green tourism promotion. The event was complemented by a study visit to culture heritage objects around Cahul whea the participants got aware of the local culture heritage assets and incentives.
The partners participated in the second transnational meeting and discussed the project progress and deliverables, the forthcoming events as well as the administrative and the financial operation of the action.
As a leading partner, the UBBSLA shall contribute the smooth and effective project run which foresees the introduction of energy efficient measures in historic buildings and monuments for the development of: (1) online catalogue for green tourism; (2) feasibility studies for intervention measures in 3 culture heritage buildings; (3) roadmap of culture and green tourism; (4) virtual guide of heritage assets across the Black Sea basin.
