MARLISCO-Bulgaria Award Ceremony was held in Varna city hall on 29th March 2014. The first place winner is the short video film “Wake up!” produced by Yana Nevedesheva, Elitsa Georgieva, Maria-Zhaklin Zhekova and David Kortezov, students at the English High School “Geo Milev” – Burgas. The best MARLISCO-Bulgaria video will be included in a final film, which will compile all the winners from the 14 participating countries.
The awarded team received Certificates, 1 000 BGN prize and invitation to take participation to the EU Ceremony of Maritime Days 17th-20th May 2014 in Bremen, Germany, where the final film compilation will be premiered. The travel and subsistence costs will be covered by MARLISCO project.
2nd and 3rd Place Award are presented to students at the Georgi Rakovski High School of Commerce – Varna with the short video films “Trashalypse” and “Friends with one common goal“
The event was accompanied by MARLISCO-art exhibition that was also part of the educational activities of the project. By the end of the year, the exhibition will tour all of our Black Sea municipalities. Contribution to the exhibition were three-dimensional models of Black residents in real size, made by the children at the Municipal Children Complex – Varna.
Opening of the MARLISCO Exhibition
