„Conservation and storage of traditional seed varieties“
On 6th of March the first online training was held on for the Bulgarian target groups. The sessions were dedicated to introduce the participants with the origin, purpose and concept of the CSC, the EU and the world practice for protection and conservation of old vegetable varieties and the opportunities for the Bulgarian actors.
The concept and the methodology for establishment and functions of the Community Seed Collection were discussed as part of the interactive part of the training.
The online training was part of the SEEDGUARD activities targeted to small scale farmers, gardeners, hobby growers from Varna and Dobrich regions.
