Project objective: By means of connecting people and institutions both at local and international level project intends to address to some weakness of VET system applied to art crafts.
Some of the issues that AVANT CRAFTS project will focus at and which solution will aim at are:
- Implementing vocational guidance service for students and family,
- Supporting vocational college in offering training and work experiences,
- Developing partnerships between schools and SMEs,
- Identifying the future skills required by AC companies
In the frame of the project 4 international working groups will be established composed by project partners and silent partners, dealing with the following themes:
* vocational school models/apprenticeship models
* vocational guidance systems
* cooperation models among SMEs and schools
* mapping models of future skills
Additionally, 16 local focus groups will be organised (2 per issue) and led by project partners and composed by local stakeholders to present results from international working groups.
Expected results:
– List of best practices proposed by participant concerning models of VET system, successful practices of local partnerships, training and apprenticeship models, involvement of SMEs. This list will be uploaded into the facebook page and it will present to policy makers and institutions involved in VET
– The consolidation of a permanent network capable of connecting other new partners coming from different Countries not represented in this phase and of applying for future calls for proposal.
